Redline was able to accomplish what I thought would be nearly impossible: moving my 85 year old father and his 60 years of sculpture, paintings, furniture and books out of his 2000 s.f. loft in Tribeca (downtown NYC) where he had been for 30 years. Not only were they efficient and prompt but they were unbelievably gracious to my father and me, under very difficult circumstances. The whole moving/packing process took 4 days, and required discretion and sensitivity. Much of what was being moved was large (6' plus) sculpture, which had to be disassembled without breaking. No easy feat. But they totally knew what they were doing and broke nothing. As you can imagine, this transition was extremely difficult for my Dad, but Kieran and his crew kept things moving along efficiently while handling him with kid gloves. In terms of price, Redline was competitive but not the cheapest. However, I knew this was going to be an insanely difficult project, entailing my flying from LA to NY to supervise, so the fact that I connected so well with both Shane and Kieran meant everything. I also arrived late due to weather and they were able to get started without me - with a man who basically did not want to move. You get what you pay for. Just to be clear, I used them to move, and to pack, my father's prized possessions, and they managed to do it while he watched and got in the way. Talk about finesse! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Moving day went smoothly - that statement alone summing up the experience. The personnel were all very courteous, friendly and professional. They showed up when they said they would and completed the move in about the time they estimated despite our having surprised them on moving day with some extra things to pack (because we gave them bad info; not because of their planning).
